Sally and I met in 1981 when I was her teacher. She was one of 18 other children who were in my 4th, 5th and 6th Gifted/Talented class. All of these children had been tested with an above-average IQ. She was one of my star singers in the class shows we performed. The last time Sally and I saw each other was 1982, when she came back to be a guest singer in one of our school's shows.

Twenty-five years later, I logged onto my email and find one from her. We talked on the phone forever, and invited me to Genghis Cohen to hear her sing! She absolutely blew me away! These pictures were taken with her and the band at Genghis Cohen on Fairfax and Melrose in West Hollywood.
